Bring together child welfare professionals with youth and young adult leaders to learn about the opportunities presented by Division X of the 2020 Supporting Foster Youth and Families Through the Pandemic Act, P.L. 116–260, and discover the lessons learned from the implementation of the legislation’s funding and program flexibilities.

The lessons learned cover areas such as youth-adult partnerships, collaborations with community and organizational partners, and ways to leverage funding flexibilities. This overview can serve as a foundation for child welfare agencies to build on the successes of enhancing or developing new programs and policies and to continue innovating to better meet the needs of youth and young adults.

The strategies offered throughout this resource are informed by lived experience experts and have been augmented by examples, research, and other information.
