Description

Learn about intentional and collaborative communication strategies to build a common understanding of prevention and the role of the child welfare system in strengthening families and communities.

Bring your team together to discuss reflections and ideas sparked by the Roundtable stories. Consider using the following questions as discussion prompts:

  1. What kinds of communication strategies could help foster trust and transparency in our planning process?
  2. What are some structures we have in place to support prevention communications? What do we need to build?
  3. Whom can we bring to the table to help shape our prevention communication plan?

Pair the video with the Building Capacity to Address Common Challenges planning tool as your team explores approaches to communicate with partners about prevention.
