Description

Examines how child welfare agencies can assess and select the best possible intervention to address identified problems and unmet needs. Choosing an appropriate solution requires critical thinking about whether an existing intervention is a “good fit” and holds promise or if something new is needed. This series of eight videos examines intervention selection by considering essential functions or tasks. Function 7A explores how a team can operationalize core components to ensure an intervention meets key criteria, is based on research evidence, and provides enough information so the team can carry it out in practice and measure the results.
