Examines how child welfare agencies can prepare for implementing an intervention, plan for capacity building, and develop an implementation plan. Before implementing a new practice, service, policy, strategy, program, or practice model, agencies can prepare the groundwork for success by outlining clear steps to implement the intervention and build needed capacity. Module 1 provides an overview of essential functions for preparing for implementation, planning for capacity building, and developing an implementation plan and considers how tasks work together to support change efforts.
