Combine videos and discussion guides to learn how and why kinship caregivers foster and adopt relative children and how to better support them.

In the videos, kinship caregivers discuss their experiences and motivations for fostering and adopting relative children, the importance of agency and community support in meeting family needs, the kinship certification and adoption process, and collaboration with birth families and kin. Use the activities and action-planning templates in the It's All Relative: Supporting Kinship Care Discussion Guides with these stories to help your staff discover how to better understand, assess, and support kinship caregivers.

Angela's Story
