“Reflecting on Racial Equity and Prevention-Focused Systems” is narrated by Antonica Aleman. Antonica (she/her) is a Lived Experience Engagement Specialist (LEES) at the Center for States and has over a decade of experience in the child welfare system. She holds certification in mental health training for adolescents, serves as the Vice President of the Louisiana Elite Advocacy Force (LEAF) State Board and the Chair of its Policy Subcommittee. In that role, she co-authored Senate Bill 151: The Louisiana Elite Advocacy Force Act. She earned two BA degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University in criminal justice and sociology.
