Description

This video helps individuals understand how to develop a hypothesis to get from a root cause to improved outcomes and prepare for work with teams. Developing a theory of change occurs after an agency or team identifies a problem and before it selects a solution. This series of five videos breaks down the process into five tasks or functions. Module 3 explores the third task, developing the pathway or pathways of change to reach the long-term outcome, and provides examples of how to apply strategies. Casual links connect the root cause(s) of the problem to the long-term outcome, and are not strategies or actions, but are more indicators that “tell the story of how success will be recognized” at each level in the pathway.
