Description
This video helps individuals understand how to develop a hypothesis to get from a root cause to improved outcomes and prepare for work with teams. Developing a theory of change occurs after an agency or team identifies a problem and before it selects a solution. This series of five videos breaks down the process into five tasks or functions. Module 2 explores the second task, identifying a long-term outcome, and provides examples of how to apply strategies. Identifying a long-term outcome that is specific, achievable, and understandable helps teams establish a goal that is focused, feasible, and clear to those who will do the work over time and improve the chance that the team can meet their goal.
