Addressed developmentally appropriate services for youth in foster care and identified best practices for Federal support of States and territories in implementing provisions of the Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act (P.L. 113-183). This meeting took place on May 29, 2015, and was hosted by the White House, the Children’s Bureau, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and the Jim Casey Youth Opportunities Initiative. Participants included individuals who have been in foster care, foster parents, child welfare directors and commissioners, and leading researchers in adolescent development from across the country.
