Reference Guide for Quality Matters: Improving Contacts With Children, Youth, and Families Videos
This reference guide describes the six short videos and paired discussion guides that demonstrate what quality visits look like in practice within one family system over a period of time.
Description
This guide follows caseworker Kara as she meets separately with the biological parents, the resource parent, the child, the youth, and her supervisor. It is designed to help staff build a common understanding of definitions and core elements; how to use data to plan, prepare, and monitor quality visits; and how to support line staff through coaching and modeling a framework for quality visits.
