This video examines how to assess agency readiness to put new programs and practices in place. Assessing readiness helps agencies prepare for a successful change initiative and proactively build capacity in needed areas. This series of five videos examines readiness by considering the purpose and benefits of assessing for readiness, identifying factors that contribute to readiness, developing an assessment approach, conducting an assessment, analyzing results, and determining next steps. Video 1 explores the purpose and benefits of assessing for readiness.
