The Center for States supports States and territories in building the capacity to develop, implement, and sustain a continuum of adoption preservation and support services that result in enhanced family stability, permanency, and well-being. Strategies to help States build capacity include working with organizations that offer an array of adoption support and preservation services and creating tools, products, and learning experiences that will enhance the knowledge and skills of child welfare professionals. Additionally, the Center supports peer networking designed to promote collaboration among members of the National Association of State Adoption Programs.
