As a Senior Workforce Analyst for the Center for States, Tracy Tippett, L.C.S.W., works closely with the Children’s Bureau and other experts in the area of child welfare workforce development. Mr. Tippett’s primary role involves helping states and territories build capacity through the development and management of projects, products, and peer groups. Mr. Tippett has 29 years of child welfare experience as a program area manager, a psychotherapist, national child welfare consultant, trainer, curriculum developer, and supervision coach. He specializes in workforce development, adoption, foster care, trauma, and issues concerning lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (LGBTQIA+) populations in child welfare.
